Welcome to the PMI “Project Leadership Through Excellence and Innovation Conference 2017” call for papers.

Enhancing your skills and keeping up with trends is essential—and ongoing—for all project professionals. Whether you are new to the profession or have many years of experience, PMI offers a variety of learning opportunities designed to meet your specific needs.

The Project Leadership Through Excellence and Innovation Conference 2017, to be held in Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait will focus on topics relevant to the trends that have created the growing need for Project Leadership. Project leaders who possess a combination of technical, leadership, strategic and business management expertise drive optimum performance in their organizations.

We require speakers with a broad range of experience and communication styles, you must be engaging, innovative and a real expert in your field. You bring the subject, the content and your personality and we’ll provide you with a platform in front of your peers to share your expertise and experience.

Eligibility and Submission Guidelines

• Active and PMI credentialed Project, Program and Portfolio Professionals are invited to submit a proposal.
• Past presenters of PMI Live Events are welcome to submit; however past presentations that have been delivered at prior PMI Congress/Conference will not be considered unless substantial updates to the content are visible in the proposal. Content that has not been previously presented will receive higher consideration
• All proposals must be submitted online and by the deadline of 14 October, 18:00 GST. Late proposals will not be accepted.

What to submit

The educational program at event supports the elements of the PMI Talent Triangle which promotes the holistic development of leadership capabilities, strategic and business management and technical skills.

This event program theme is: Project Leadership through Excellence and Innovation 2017!

• The length of the abstract should be between150 and 250 words
• Papers must not have been previously published
• Papers and presentations should be free of commercial sales content

Papers and presentations should focus on the subject of the title, and provide new contributions to the topic

21st September – Call for Proposals Open
14 October – Deadline for Proposals
31st October – Email notification regarding proposal status

If proposal is accepted:

7th November – Draft PowerPoint Presentation Due
15th November – Final PowerPoint Presentation Due
